Application Deadline: June 30, 2024
Prairie Presbyterian Church is offering a bursary award for eligible post-secondary students regardless of discipline. There may be multiple awards each year with a maximum amount of $1,000 per bursary. Recipients may reapply for one (1) additional year, depending on length of program of study.
The purpose of the award is to assist students who are members or adherents of churches or ministries within the Winnipeg Presbytery. Preference may be given to those who are connected to Prairie Presbyterian Church, Place of Hope Indigenous Presbyterian Church, Winnipeg Inner City Missions, or the Kenora Fellowship Centre.
Other criteria that may be used to determine award recipients include: volunteer work in church or community, financial need, whether applicants are first-year students, in either undergrad or post grad programs as well as recommendations from the applicant’s home church minister.
Applicants for the award must be registered in a post-secondary program of study at the time of the disbursement of the cash award.
