Two Different Services on December 24th

10am and 5pm at 590 University Cres.

Celebrate the birth of Jesus with great music, stories, a message of hope, and all the favourite carols.

The 10am service on Dec 24th focusses on John chapter 1, where Jesus is spoken of as the Word of God becoming flesh, and as Eugene Peterson puts it in the Message, He "moved into the neighborhood." For this final service in the season of Advent, we light the candle of love, remembering the love that God poured out on the world in Jesus, and continues to provide for us.

The 5pm service on Dec 24th focusses on Luke chapter 2, where the familiar story of the first Christmas is told. Angels bring glad tidings to shepherds, a child is born, and glory to God is sung in the heavens and on earth. But, what does it all mean for us? Find out, find hope again, and join in the song that began that night.
